Beliefs
- We believe the bible both Old and New Testaments, as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy; and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. Matthew 5:17-18; Psalm 119:9, 11; John 10:35; 17:17; Romans 16:25-26; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Peter 3:15-16
- We believe Yahweh (The LORD) our God is one God who eternally exists in three persons: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal. Genesis 1:1-3; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 3:16-17; 28:19; Luke 1:35; John 1:1-3, 14; Colossians 2:9; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 Timothy 1:17
- We believe that those who believe the Gospel of Yeshua (Jesus) and put their trust in Him are born again by the Holy Spirit and become children of God and heirs of eternal life. Thus, eternal life is totally a work of grace, a gift of God and not of any good works or human efforts on our part. John 3:3, 5, 16; Romans 3:23-28; 5:1; 6:23; Galatians 2:16; 4:4-7; Ephesians 2:8-12; Titus 3:5
- We believe that those that have been born again will have the Fruit of the Spirit in their lives. Galatians 5:22,23
- We believe in the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked. Matthew 25:46; Mark 9:43-48; Revelation 19:20.
- We believe that Yeshua of Nazereth (Jesus) is Yahweh in the flesh, the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Yeshua, our passover Lamb, was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor. Matthew 1:23; 1 Corinthians :7; 1 Corinthians 15:3 Matthew 28:6; Acts 1:9
- We believe in the ongoing process of spiritual growth of the Christian through the Holy Spirit and God’s Word. Each person is to grow in their knowledge of God’s Word and in developing and employing their spiritual gifts through the Church, so others may come to know Messiah and the body of Messiah be built up into maturity. John 8:31-32; 14:16-17; 16:13; 17:17; Romans 12:4-8; 1 Corinthians 12-14; Galatians 5:22-23; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 5:11-14
- We believe that all believers should earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to the command of our Messiah Yeshua. This was the normal experience of all believers in the early Church and should be the normal experience of all believers today as well. With it comes the enduement of power for life and service, Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4; Acts1:8; Acts 2:1-4
- We believe the gifts of the Spirit were in existence in the past and are still active today: word of wisdom, word of knowledge, faith, the gifts of healing, the working of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, various kinds of tongues, and the interpretation of tongues. 1 Cor 12:1-11
- We believe in celebrating the weekly seventh-day Sabbath (Shabbat) and the annual Feasts of the LORD. Genesis 2:1,2; Exodus 20:8; Leviticus 23; Deuteronomy 16
- We believe there is one Olive Tree and that Gentiles who are born again are grafted into the commonwealth of Israel and become spiritual descendants of Abraham. Further, we affirm, that the Jewish people are the physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We reject that the church has replaced Israel, but rather the church are those Jews and Gentiles that have repented and placed their faith in Messiah as God's perfect sinless Passover Lamb, that takes away the sins of the world. Romans 11:17-24; Ephesians 2:11-13; John 1:29
